©1971 The Third Eye, Inc. Brilliantly colored promo poster for the Marvel Superheroes line of 24 individual black light posters. Marvel characters shown include: The Sub-Mariner, Captain Marvel, Dr. Strange, The Incredible Hulk, Captain America & The Falcon, Thor, Black Bolt, Medusa, Spider-Man, The Silver Surfer, Iron Man, Daredevil, The Fantastic Four, Hela and Odin and Conan the Barbarian. Some are based on covers or pin-ups while others are random panels from the comics. Printed in special fluorescent inks on high quality paper. Poster has scattered degrees of handling wear, mostly confined to black borders. Aged tape and glue remnants on corners and a few spots on sides, top and bottom. Top right and lower left corners have some surface paper loss and a few tack holes in each corner. There are a few white creases on Third Eye logo at bottom. Other than the aforementioned issues, the rest of the rolled poster has lt. aging/handling wear. Displays VG. This is the rarest poster to find as meant for store display and would be the 25th poster to have a complete set.
